My five minutes of fame

About a month ago, I was asked to do a radio interview for American Catholic radio. A lady contacted me because she had read my Catholic blog and was interested in conversion stories during the season of Lent. I was very flattered by this and I agreed to the interview. She called me at school one day during my lunch and we visited for about 30 minutes. The interviewed aired on March 24. I hadn't realized that it had aired until I got an email today from someone who heard it. So I listened to it. I thought it was a very nice interview and that it was put together well. So if you're interested you can hear the interview here. The interview starts about 5 minutes in and lasts for about 5 minutes.

I heard that interview, too - and it's how I found your blog. I thought it was well-done, and I was interested in your story (as it were).

Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi and let you know I that I'm reading your blog. I'm in my early 30s and a new teacher in New York City (and looking for a teaching job). I really appreciate the stories about your kids! :-)

I enjoyed that interview and am grateful you found what you needed and were seeking in the Catholic church. Our spiritual journey is a never ending one. I would like to thank you again for the rosary you made for me and know that I use it in my meditations.

Did the hits to your web site for the rosaries increase after this interview aired?

Blessings Leann

Wow, such a pleasant story. How fabulous that they found you ... and that you found the church.

Peace.
