Daily Three - Things I Could Not Find at Target

Matt and I are heading on a road trip this weekend so I was needing to get a few things.  I went to Target because I needed makeup and unlike Walmart, you can find what you need without someone having to unlock a sliding door.  While I was there, however, I couldn't find 3 things that I was shopping for:

1.  Underwear - I was looking for a specific brand and style and they didn't have it in stock.

2.  Sports Bra that fits - I found one that I kind of liked but the only one in my size had stains on it.  I didn't think the rest would provide the support needed.  I did, however, find two other regular bras that seem to fit ok.  Since we are going to be going to some theme parks and walking out in the sun for hours, I wanted something that would help with sweating.

3.  Stationery - I know that letter writing is a lost art these days but I was needing to actually write a letter (by hand) and the stationery I've had since the mid-80's was a bit faded and dusty.  The only thing Target had was some blank cardstock cards but no actual stationery sets.

And that is why I rarely shop! It seems that now that they have pick up service, the shelves are bare. Our Walmart's grocery shelves, especially produce, are empty most of the time. The last time I ventured into Walmart, they were out of green onions and celery, for the third time.

I complained. They blamed the weather (May in Pennsylvania?). They blamed transportation issues. This time the woman told me I simply shopped at the wrong time of day. Maybe you just chose the wrong time of day to shop for bras and undies? Maybe the weather was inappropriate?

Lastly, I guess you didn't know that you, me and my 91 year old friend, Henry (who has never owned a computer) are the only three people who still use stationery. That's why it's not sold in stores. Perhaps an antique shop?

When are you going to come to Pittsburgh? Kennywood is waiting?

Oh, I want to come to Pittsburgh and go to Kennywood so badly! Matt has a college friend that lives there that we could probably stay with. Maybe that will be a trip for next summer.

I guess my shopping could have been the wrong time of day...

Our Walmart actually stays fairly well stocked so far. They even had several choices of stationery!
