Still here but still busy

Insanity still reins here. I got my new iPhone on Tuesday. I haven't downloaded any apps but I have put in all my contacts and have been using the Calendar quite a bit. It turns out I have something in my calendar for the next 3 weeks... and that's just because I stopped putting things in until the end of the month. I like my new phone but I'm finding the battery does not last very long. Granted I was called all day yesterday at the competition but it drains rather quickly if I actively use it.
Earlier this week I was told that my district will no longer pay for the Nationals trip. This came as a shock to me and was trying to figure out how to pay for it. I only got a response from the superintendent when I contacted a board member about it. She couldn't figure out how I didn't know this information and tried to say that the principals knew about this but mine didn't. My principal came up some money for us and the team will have to pitch in about $1500 but we still need about $700 for it.
We had our UIL competition yesterday. The speech team and social studies team both did well. All the other academic students did not do very well... but that's kind of expected since they don't have any teachers that will work with them. Now I have to plan for our regionals trip.
Now I'm trying to figure out what's going to happen next year. Right now, I've decided to definitely give up speech team. It just takes up too much time. I'd like to give up yearbook too, but I don't know if I will. Of course, there's a possibility of a library job... but can't count on anything yet.
Well, I gotta go to a rehearsal and get something to eat. I didn't get a chance to eat supper last night and it was too late by the time I got home.

You do so much for everyone and I think it's high time you took care of you and Josh ONLY. And your critters too.

I think about you often and hope that you can hang in there until school is over with for the summah!

I agree with Summer. You do sooo much for everyone else. It's in your character. You are really an awesome person and the school is soooo lucky to have you.

I guess the ladies are right. Time for some time for yourself. Next week is Easter, there should be some free time, some space. No use to take work to home, it will not be done and in the end you only have a guilty conscience. Time to pull the plug, take off. It does not mean to go away or to do fancy things, just step back, relax, meditate or pray, it's quite the same. I'd like to give you a friendly hug, (Annabel).
