Another long day

And it's only Monday. I still have the rest of the week to go. But now it's down to seven more days until school is out. (Sorry Mago... I should have clarified that yesterday.)
I managed to do a few things today, but not much on my ever growing to-do list. I still don't have grades in the computer nor have I graded much of anything. (Though I did get through two days of journals for comm. app.)
We started watching "The Great Debaters" in debate class today. So far I like it a lot. That's one reason why I didn't get much done because I watched it instead of grading papers. My comm. app. students are doing practice interviews tomorrow so I have to get that set up. My interp class is performing their Reader's Theatre pieces at an elementary school tomorrow. I still don't have my semester tests ready or my reviews. I need to stay after school tomorrow and get much more done.
Tonight was our Orator banquet. It was nice. My seniors seemed to like their gifts. I talked to a lady that is on our school board about the situation with school board here and she also thinks it is ridiculous. I'm glad I'm not alone in this. One of my friends is sending $50 though. I think we'll get enough to do the trip, but I'm still upset about the lack of support from the district that he is representing. But enough of that.
I just got home a few minutes ago and now it's time for bed. I hope I have a more productive day tomorrow.

Good that you wrote and sent that letter. Let's hope that it works. What adventure story did he choose?
Is your school-year now over - that would be fast!
