For the Record
This is my blog and I can write about whatever I want. If I want to whine and complain and be negative, then that is my perogative. If you have something negative to say to me, that is fine, but unless you quit hiding by commenting anonymously, I will take your comments with a grain of salt - if that. I am appreciative of what I have but like everyone else, I have bad days and use my blog to write about it. If you don't like reading about my life - positive or negative, then you have complete freedom to not read it at all. I'm not bothered by the fact that you chose to be ugly in your comments. There are just some people who will say whatever they want regardless of how it might hurt another person's feelings. I am bothered by the fact that you don't have the courage to post your name. But that is simply cowardice, I suppose, and something you'll have to deal with on your own.

Annabel, I'm a lurker and rarely (if ever?) comment. And I usually read you in my feed reader. But I came out of the mists to support you in this.
I think you should feel completely comfortable hitting delete on any comment that does not support you.
This is your space. You can be however you need to be here.
I am amazed at people who think that what we write here is the complete picture of who we are as people anyway. Either it's cleaned up to make one look like a saint or it's a place to get the negatives and over-whelmies OUT so that we can be better to the people we face day-in and day-out.
Anyway, congratulations on knowing that and holding to it.
I heard what happened over at Andrews...I've been the victim of that a few times, and it still hurts. Great post!
I've even had people "leave my blog" after other anon comments have called out the other people commenting...sad, but true.
oh well, like you said, your blog, your rules, and if people don't like it, they can lump it! :)

I have actually never read your blog before, I was blog surfing, found Andrew's blog then yours. I agree 100% with you, its your blog, write what you like, hell with what anyone thinks. I have had some problems in the past with annonymous comments, been called a bad mother, and a negative person. I even changed my blog address to escape the comments, I admire your guts for not deleting the annonymous comments and standing your ground. Im glad I found your blog, I will be back, chin up!!

I read Andrew blog and saw you had someone make a nasty comment anonymously on your blog. I had an Anonymous comment on my blog not long ago they told me I should have smack my children and I should stand up and be a parent, give me a break.
I don't let Anonymous comments on my blog anymore and what gets me is these people are so chicken they have to post anonymously.
You know I support you in whatever you do. I saw that comment and scoffed. They were obviously a "drive-by" commenter and haven't read for long. They would find you one of the more positive and affirming bloggers out there if they read.
