I've been wanting to blog but the internet connection at my aunt's house is painstakingly slow. I'm at my sister's house right now so I figured I should get something up while I have a decent connection.
This morning started pretty early. We were up by 7:00 a.m. waiting for the kids to come out and see what Santa brought. They eventually roused around 7:30 and the chaos ensued. It took them about 3 hours to open everything... because they would open something and then play with it for a while, then open something else and so on. My aunt got me an oven glove and $50. My cousin got me some fuzzy socks. My dad is broke right now and so he didn't get me anything, but he did give Josh some money. Josh seemed to like all his presents. I got him the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the weather calendar and $100. I didn't get his afghan finished, but I showed it to him and told him I would continue to work on it. My aunt gave him an Elvis book and some money. We spent the morning watching t.v. and just sitting around. We had typical Christmas dinner of turkey and all the trimmings around 1:00. Around 3:30 my dad brought us here to my sister's place. She got me a really pretty necklace and gave Josh a $50 gift card to Penny's. We played trivial pursuit and now we're going to be heading back to the mountain soon. I probably won't get pictures uploaded until after I get back due to the internet connection.
