Long days

I keep having good intentions to get out of school early but it never seems to happen. During the middle of a debate round today our trophies for our tournament arrived. I only ordered them last week. Talk about fast service! So I spent part of the afternoon unpacking them. Then I had to fax some items and typically I couldn't get the fax machine to work on the one to the hotel for this weekend. Oh well, I guess I'll just take the rooming list with me. Now I'm only taking 10 students. It should be a nice trip, but I'm pretty certain that we won't have any chance at a sweepstakes. I just hope some of them get to finals and get some more points.

I'm going to make dinner shortly (chicken tortellini with marinara sauce) and then probably take it easy tonight. I'll do a little laundry so I'll be ready to pack tomorrow. I need to do some more crocheting on Josh's present. I finally called and made a doctor's appointment for my yearly physical. I should have gone in September but I just never got the time. Well, I'm getting hungry so I better get busy in the kitchen.

I was so excited to get a post from you. Don't get mad at me for being a blog groupie, but I have no life! lol Glad the trophies came and were correct. That is one less trouble to worry with. I will be thinking of you this weekend. Do you realize how polar opposite our lives are? I wish we could meet in the middle or something and share the load. I need more to do. And you need more time just to yourself. Anyways, enough of my rambling. I am just glad I got to hear from you tonight. Sleep well tonight.

I have not visited your site for some time. I really enjoy the roller coaster image you use at the top.

What sort of competition is this for your students? Is it similar to the Science Olympiad concept?

Thank you for your writings!

Take it easy, whatever comes a way ... Talking about that medical date ... should have seen him some months ago also.
Hope your Tortellini will be good!
