Trying to have self-control

I slept pretty well. I'm in the middle room this time so I have the more comfortable bed. I was up by 7:00 Albuquerque time and got ready for church. We had to leave by 8:25 but we didn't quite make it by then. We headed out but my car wouldn't make it up the bit of hill from my aunt's house to the main road. My dad and others had to help push it a bit to get it going. It was pretty much pure ice on top of a dirt road. We got to the church and had the service which included the blessing of my cousin's marriage vows and the baptism of their youngest child. Josh and I played the prelude music which he wrote/arranged himself. It was only 3 1/2 minutes, but it was tough to play because we didn't get to rest much. After the service, we went to the grocery store and then came home. I had a sandwich for lunch and a bloody mary. That made me very tired so I took a nice long nap. I got up and haven't done much at all today. I tried working on Josh's afghan but I'm not going to get it finished. I'm maybe a third of the way done. Oh well. I had a glass of wine and then we had dinner. Oh... I forgot to mention that at church we also had food. I've been eating and drinking all day and I need to stop. Now. I did take some pictures that I'll try to post before we leave. I know that Andrew would love to see pictures of my aunt's house here in the woods. Well, that's it for today. Hope everyone is safe and sound whereever you may be.

Please do share pictures. I am so excited about Christmas this year and feel much better today. Thanks for being a friend and sticking by me through some of my more trying moments. You have been a saint when most others would have ran off and abandoned me. Merry Christmas to you and Josh and Happy New Year!
