Updates before my Nap

The tournament was long. It was a two day tournament and on Friday I only got about three hours of sleep. That made Saturday a very long day. One of my students finally qualified in oratory and another who was qualified in humorous also qualified in oratory. Josh is getting closer to qualifying but still needs six points.

I feel asleep as soon as I hit the pillow last night. I woke up a few times, so it was a fitful sleep. I didn't go to class this morning and slept until I had to get ready for church. I went to Mass and then afterwards a lady that lives down the street from me asked me if I had a minute. I said "sure" and she then asked me if I ever allowed people to set me up on dates. I said "Sure, why not." So she has a guy that she wants to introduce me to that is a friend of her daughter and son-in-law I think. She's going to set up dinner at her house some night so I guess it could be interesting at least.

I got a jury summons in the mail yesterday. I think that for the first time it is at a time that I'm not going to be out of town. Unfortunately, it is when I have a major project going on at school. I'll have to talk to my assistant principal and see if he could deal with the guests that are coming to do my class interviews.

I am thinking about trying to put my tree up tonight, but we'll see how it goes. I'm not sure that I'll get to it. I'm going to take a nap first, then probably head to the store to get groceries for this week.

This "date" thing sounds interesting although I would be so nervous to have that happen. I would love for you to be able to date a nice guy! I hope you get your tree up as well. I have to wait until next weekend to get my tree as I want a live one and it will dry out if I get one too early. I am excited though and can't wait! Glad your home and that you got some rest. I say it all the time, but I don't know how you do it. I wish you could at least get the weekend off!

I'm right there with Andrew. You should have your weekends to yourself or at least get double the pay!

Get some rest.

Put up the tree - isn't it a little early? I do not your customs in Texas naturally and do not want to critisize or something. I see the first blinking windows here and the first electric chains in some trees in the gardens. I had no tree for years now, the last time I guess in the late 80s. We used to set it up some days before Holy Eve.
