I'm finally home

What a trip. I think for the most part it was worth it. My uncle paid me well - a lot more than expected. That will come in handy when it comes to the costs of Josh's incident. I wasn't sure if I'd make it back to Amarillo with the weather, but we didn't have any problems other than leaving Orlando late. We didn't get to Amarillo until 7:00. The weather is clear here and really cold but the streets in town are horrible. I really do not want to go to school tomorrow.

I ended up reading four books on my trip. I bought a 5th just in case, but didn't get to it. I finished the 4th book about 20 minutes before we landed in Amarillo. On the way home I had to go by my dad's and pick up a check from him. He's loaning me the money to pay off my last credit card. Then I had to fill my car with gas. I then went to Sonic to pick up dinner. I didn't get home until around 8:45. Now it's just about bed time for me.

Hi Annabel, just wanted to let you know I am still out here reading your posts. Your life is so busy and interesting!

What were the 4 books you took on your trip, especially the one that made you cry? Always looking for new books to read!

I so agree with you about the hassels of flying and this bit about the liquids in plastic baggies. It has made packing so much harder. And I wonder, what do they do with all those confiscated cosmetics? Sell them on ebay?

Take care and stay warm! It is 60 degrees this morning in Tennessee.

Glad you made it back safe! We are still iced over here. Fortunately school was out today for MLK anyway.

Glad you are home safe. If you get some free time, take some pictures of the ice around Canyon. It is seventy degrees here!
