Another day's work

Just another day. I had my interp and debate classes research information on the three major speech organizations that they should be aware of. They'll present the information they find to the rest of the class tomorrow. In speech, the students presented personal shields that they created in class. I went over my choice lesson with them. I'm not sure how well it went over, but one student did seem to enjoy it. So I guess if I've at least reached that one, then I can call it successful. I still don't have enough time to get everything done. I need to have more things prepared in advance, but I just can't seem to get caught up. I am making progress, it is just slow going.

Josh made the youth symphony. He is the second clarinet. (Of two) I think it will be a good experience for him. I played in it my senior year and really enjoyed it. I'll have to pay a fee of $150 eventually for him to participate, but I think it's worth it. I told him that I'd pay it if he'd pay for his online class books. It's a good thing he's making money now. I need to sit down tonight and see how much money I have.

I really need to get started on the band website. I just haven't had the time or the energy. Last night after supper, I spent the time working on my lesson for today and then I was in bed by 9:30. I brought work home tonight as well, but I'm not sure if I'll get to it. Josh wanted enchiladas tonight so I spent the last hour making them. I'm trying a new recipe for spanish rice. I hope it turns out well.

Dinner is about ready so I'm going to get a bite to eat.

I never quite know what to say to you. I feel as if I'm reading Greek and dont' know the language of response. That's a compliment by the way :-)

One enjoyed it - that's a good reason to call it a success, if you reached one.
Congratulations to your son.

Do not try to make too much things for your classes, it will work ...
