A Headache

I'm not getting much done today. I have a headache that I can't seem to shake. It's not a migraine; I don't think I've ever actually had a migraine, but it's enough to just make me a bit miserable. I think it's from sleeping in my contacts last night. It's not like it's the first time I've done that, but for whatever reason, they started bothering me just before I headed to church. I had a hard time concentrating because they kept bothering me and my eyes were watering. I came home and took them out, but I'm still dealing with a headache. I took some tylenol and laid on my bed for a bit with a warm cloth over my eyes which helped a little, but I'm still not feeling very functional. I need to clean the house. I don't want to start the school year with a messy house. I don't know that I'll get to it, however. I also need to get some things done for school tomorrow but I can't concentrate very well. There is also an RCIA meeting tonight that I wanted to go to. My brother and his girlfriend may start going to the classes, but won't be able to come tonight. She has to work and Tim is taking care of their baby who has the chicken pox right now. I'm going to try to get started on some school stuff and see if I can get myself going on getting at least a few things done before tomorrow.

I had lenses once. It was partly comfortable, partly not. I very much liked to swim with lenses and diving-googles on, bicycling - oh yes billiards: That was a real difference! But I could have these things into my eyes for 10 to 12 hours maximum. After that my eyes would start to get red, watering and I would feel a kind of pressure. Could not sleep with them in.

My eyes changed again, I have no more fitting lenses. Maybe in some months.
