Saturday's Activities

I went to bed around 11:30 last night and slept pretty well. No embarrassing dreams this time. I woke up around 8:00. I spent the morning watching t.v. and reading blogs. I had some breakfast around 10:30 and then asked Josh if he wanted to go look at beds today. He said yes, but was going to go back to bed for a while. We decided to leave around 12:30. We went to some furniture stores to check out the options available. He thinks that he may want to go up to a full size bed from a single, but isn't sure how he feels about having extra room. I understand what he means. I have a queen sized bed and I always only sleep on one side of it. So we looked for full size beds and there were a few, but they're hard to come by. We may even consider a queen size since it's only 6 inches wider. That would also allow for an extra guest bed should we ever get company again. We went to eat Mexican food around 2:30 and then decided to go see Harry Potter at 4:00. I checked paint at Home Depot and Lowe's but I still have no idea what to get. I may go up tomorrow and just prep the room for painting by taping the inside of the windows and repairing some peeling walls. I also need to get some before pictures so you can see the room as it is now. We got home a short while ago and decided that we're going to go to Lubbock next week to see a Drum Corps show. I paid for the tickets tonight, but Josh will pay me back for his ticket when he gets his first paycheck.

Josh is going to start cleaning his room so that we can hopefully get him a new bed in there sometime next week. I need to go walk tonight, but I already feel tired. I did do a lot of walking today going from store to store. I think I'm going to at least go turn on the air conditioner and try to cool things off in here.

I have a queen-size bed and only sleep on one side. The other side has all my magazines and books. I like it that way!

We have a waterbed and we hate it! We're not youngins anymore and it hurts our backs. So many other things need done, not sure when the bed will come into view...
