Winding Down

It's been a long day. As you know, I didn't get to bed until 12:30 since I was reading Harry Potter. I had to force myself to stop knowing I had church in the morning. I went to the 8:30 service and taught the last of my lesson in the adult class at 10:00. I wasn't sure how it went; in some ways I didn't feel very confident. I have, however, received compliments on the lesson so I guess it went well. When I came home from church, I read from 11:30 until 2:30 when I finally finished the book. There are several things I want to go and re-read, but I've let another friend borrow the book so I won't get to do that for a few days.

I went to the store this afternoon and got groceries. Now that Josh is home I have to make real meals again. Around 4:00 I decided that I was tired so I took a nap. I got up a little before 6:00 so I could make supper before Josh went to the movies. I decided to not go to too much trouble tonight and just put a pizza in the oven. I had a slice of pizza and then watched a little t.v. I fiddled around with my mp3 player and had some issues with the program on the computer. I decided that I needed to do some walking again so I headed out a little after 8:00. I stopped by a neighbor's house along the way to give back a book they had let me borrow. (They go to my church and attend the adult class.) They invited me in to visit for a while so I did and it was very nice. She gave me the recipe for the beer bread that she gave me a while back so I'm anxious to try it. Unfortunately, I already drank my last beer a few days ago. Oh darn... I guess it's an excuse to get some more. (This coming from someone that isn't really much of a beer drinker.) Around 9:00 I left my neighbor's and continued on my walk. I did a circuit of about a mile. I couldn't do more since it was getting dark. I hope I continue doing this because I know I need it.

I came home, drank some water, checked email and blogs. I made another rosary. Now it's time to be thinking about bed.
