I hurt all over

What a long day. I got up around 8- something. I took a shower and got ready to head to Hereford. I was on my way by 9:00. I spent the first part of the morning taping down the rest of the plastic to protect the carpet and taped the windows. I was getting ready to fill in a spot where some plaster had come off when I realized that my step stool wasn't tall enough. I left and went to Walmart and got a larger stool that has a space to hold paint and supplies. I didn't want to spend the money really, but it was well worth it in the end. I patched two spots on the wall that needed it and then began painting the large brick wall in the back. I'm going to need another coat where the big cow head was. White doesn't cover up dark maroon easily. I painted the white above the chalkboard wall and the wall where the door is. I also painted all the window and door trims. I didn't do the long paneled wall because of waiting for the patched areas to dry. I spent all afternoon going up and down the step ladder and on the floor so my body is very achy. I took some Aleve and hope it kicks in soon.

My refrigerator is working again for now. My brother looked at it - again - and said it needed to defrost - again. I may have to just make sure it keeps defrosting for a few days until he can pinpoint what is causing the issue. He said it should be a minor fix that is relatively cheap because it's not anything that would be major bucks. I've left the cover panel off and it seems to do the trick for now at least. He'll look at it again when he gets back from his trip to Albuquerque.

I've cooked dinner (Hamburger Helper) and now I'm ready to sit and do nothing for a while. I'm sure I'll be going to bed early tonight. I do have a book I'm reading, but I think total exhaustion will set in before long. I plan to head back to Hereford tomorrow and finish most of the painting in the room. I may not get to the office and storage room, but that can always be done later. It is so awesome to have a sink available in my room. I am such a messy painter (meaning I get it all over myself). Well, that's all the news in my world.
